CV & Currents
This is a living document of my work - at the intersection of critical information literacy, social justice, community care, accessibility and creativity.
PERSONAL LAND ACKNOLWEDGEMENT
I am a White Treaty person, born and raised in Toronto, on the traditional lands of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and the Mississaugas of the Credit. This land is covered by the Dish with One Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement between the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabek to share and care for the land and resources around the Great Lakes. I acknowledge these Indigenous territories that I am educated and work on to emphasize the context in which I work, which is always implicated in ongoing settler-colonial violence. I am committed to being accountable to these histories as a student, scholar, and librarian.
